In-Studio Newborn Session

 Our dedicated newborn studio is the most-booked option. It’s set up specifically for babies 5-21 days old.
What it includes:

  • Temperature-controlled room (26-28°C)
  • Multiple themed setups (neutral, floral, traditional, whimsical)
  • Full prop library (wraps, baskets, layers, wooden bowls, headbands, baby hats)
  • Private feeding and rest area for mum
  • Changing station with all essentials
  • Family-inclusive frames (parents, siblings, grandparents)
  • Ideal for: Families who want variety in themes, are comfortable travelling with a newborn, and prefer the controlled studio environment.
  • Duration: 2-3 hours (baby-paced)

 At-Home Newborn Session

Particularly loved by second-time parents, C-section recovery mums, and families with older kids. We bring the studio to you.
What it includes:

  • Full portable lighting kit (same professional quality)
  • 6-8 wraps, headbands, and props
  • Safe posing setup in your chosen room
  • Zero disruption to baby’s usual environment
  • Extended time for feeds and changes (often runs 3 hours)

What Happens During the Shoot

  • 0:00 — Arrival & warm-up (15-20 min) You arrive (or we arrive at your home). We let baby adjust to the space and temperature. Chat with you about your vision, preferences, and baby’s current mood.
  • 0:20 — First feeding break (if needed) Baby feeds. Mum relaxes. No pressure.
  • 0:45 — First setup (30-40 min) Usually the classic posed portraits on a neutral backdrop. This is where composite photography may be used for safety.
  • 1:20 — Second feeding break or nappy change Built into the schedule, not around it.
  • 1:35 — Detail shots Fingers, toes, eyelashes, tiny details. Quick, soft, close.
  • 2:00 — Themed setup The floral/traditional/minimalist setup you chose.
  • 2:30 — Family & sibling frames Parents with baby, siblings with baby, grandparents if present.
  • 3:00 — Wrap Baby goes home. You go home. We start editing.

The ideal window is 5 to 14 days after birth. Babies still curl into womb positions, sleep deeply between feeds, and have the soft, fresh appearance that characterises the newborn period. After 2 weeks, babies become more alert, bump out of those classic curled poses, and skin can start flaking — all of which limit shot variety.

Not too late, but past the ideal window. At 15-21 days, we can still do beautiful shoots — but classic posed shots (curled, sleeping positions) become harder. Awake shots, family frames, and detail photos still work wonderfully. WhatsApp us immediately if your baby is in this window.

Yes. At-home newborn shoots are one of our most-booked options, especially for first-time mums recovering from birth, C-section mums, and families with older siblings. We bring the full setup — portable lighting, wraps, props, backdrops. No additional charge for in-Hyderabad at-home sessions (within 50 km)

Plan for 2-3 hours, and allow buffer. Sessions are paced around baby’s feeds and naps — we never rush. Some sessions wrap in 2 hours; others extend to 4 if baby needs more breaks. We don’t charge extra for extended time.

Yes, when done by a trained photographer. We follow safety-first protocols developed over 8 years: composite photography for suspended or advanced poses (head-in-hands shots are combined from two safe images), spotter-assisted posing, temperature-controlled environments, and no pose we’re not 100% confident executing. We never put a baby at risk for a shot.

Completely normal — happens in every session. Newborns cry, feed, spit up, and need nappy changes. We build this into the session. No session has ever “failed” because a baby was fussy. We work with baby’s pace, not against it.
